Morning folks. I'm a new member after getting the link for the site from Phat-Boy. I live in the Northern VA area and ride a 2000 Fat Boy. It is my first American Iron two wheeler having spent most of my time (youth in SoCal) on Far-East street and dirt bikes. Do we have any members on the board from the MD, DC & VA area?

Not me, but I believe there are. Welcome aboard man. Good to see you stopped by. Got your PM on the other site. I think you'll enjoy. Mongo is the lead singer, and there are a few of us that sing backup. Ride an 01 Fatboy myself. Enjoy the site.

Thanks Phat-Boy. Has Mother Nature forced your two wheelers into hybernation?

She's in the garage all covered up sleeping. Having a warming trend today though. Supposed to hit 35. Might take her around the block tonight. How's the weather out your way. Ice all done?

Ice, ice, and more ice. It is a mix of ice & rain. I just hope this clears up by Saturday. I've a party at the homestead with about 90+ attendees. If now one shows up...I'll be gorging til the end of time.

Damn fine scoot my man. I like. I got pics at my Website (http://www.foltzreunion.com/phatboy/photos.htm) of my girl. Where's FBR at? He's a Fatboy rider, he should be in on this too.

Phat-Boy...just visited your site. I like those wheels. Look like HD brand. Quit nice!

HD Mirrorchrome Thunderstars. I was going to go with PM's, but I liked the stars and they were quite a bit cheaper. They definately help the bike out.

oooh that Gixxer.... That's my next move, a sportsbike. I have been eyeing up the 'R' types from the different manufacturers the only sticking point is insurance. Almost double what I am paying on the Hog. The insurance rep noted that as when the 'R' goes on the bike...the rates go up. May have a look at the Katana 750.

Tell ya what it is, bike theft. The GSXR is the most stolen sportbike out of all of them. I know this from experience as well, had one taken a few years back. I've built and sold a lot of sportbikes. Let me know what you are looking for. I know a friend that has one or two he would like to move on. They are the most popular around here. I wouldn't ride any other sportbike though.
